Basic tuning kit for e-bikes with Bafang motors
SpeedBox 1.0 enables to double the speed limit of an e-bike from the original 25 km/h to 50 km/h. When applied, the actual speed is displayed in half values. The display also shows your trip and other aspects of your ride.
How does SpeedBox 1.0 work?
SpeedBox 1.0 is activated by plugging in the corresponding connector which is delivered with the SpeedBox 1.0 for SpeedBox 1.0 for Impulse EVO RS . SpeedBox 1.0 is activated by plugging the green wire into the connector. The electric motor assistance will then function up to the speed of 50 km/h. Deactivation is achieved by plugging in the red wire and the original speed limit of 25 km/h is then reactivated.
When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you in the comfort of your home. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with the installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
