Reliable second generation tuning chip for your Yamaha electric bike.
SpeedBox 2.0 chip enables to suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. After the chip is installed your e-bike’s display shows real data, such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and cruising range.
How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?
SpeedBox 2.0 chip is activated on your e-bike’s display by pressing the combination of ↑ ↓ ↑ ↓ buttons successively.
After pressing the buttons, a value of 9.9 km/h (6.1 mph) is displayed shortly and from now on you can ride at an unlimited speed of 40 km/h (25 mph), 50 km/h (30 mph) and more than 60 km/h (37 mph).
The chip can be deactivated by pressing the same combination of buttons: ↑ ↓ ↑ ↓.
The speed limit of 25 km/h is reset. Your e-bike will then work the same as before chip installation.
Assembly
When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors keyed to make installation very simple.
We have prepared detailed instructions to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
